Course Details
Week 1- 4 Teaching and practicing conventional Filmmaking techniques- Basics of all 11 disciplines will be explained by experts from the point of view of AI filmmaking and all the students will collaborate to work and complete a short film in first 4 weeks so that they experience first hand joy of creation of films. Students themselves, after a brief training, will assume roles of director, actor, cinematographer, art director, etc. and shoot a film on a given location. The entire process will be supervised by experienced mentors.
Week 5 Prompt engineering and generation in creative AI models. Introduction to AI use in image creation and editing, video creation from text and images, creation of audios using AI models. Learning how to generate consistent characters, lip-sync videos and Avatars.
Week 6-8 Generating an Ad film, a complete Music video, and an explainer video using AI tools & Models in these 3 weeks.
Week 9-12 Students generate an animated short, a short fictional film and a short video combining live actor and AI generated actor with lip sync dialogues.
So the candidate will complete a minimum of 6 generations of different genres in next 8 weeks.

2 day Weekend Workshop

Only one Saturday and Sunday every month

Apart from the prompt theory, the students will go through the work on a complete AI creation (An Ad film or a sequence) during the work-shop. Learning the process involved, students will learn all the steps involved in a cinematic creation using AI tools and techniques.

Learning in a group multiplies creativity and insights. When students work side by side, they can experiment with different apps, compare outputs, discuss limitations, and share discoveries. This collaboration leads to faster problem-solving and the creation of richer content than what anyone could achieve alone.

Hands-On Training

Work directly on latest creative AI Models for creating multiple audio visual projects of different genres. First week focuses on education in 11 different film disciplines like scripting, cinematography, sound design, direction in AI, etc. In Week 2 students work on a Ad film; Week 3 educates students about how a song and even a music video can be easily and affordably created using AI tools and models; and, week 4 trains students in creating an animated short.

Support

Even after the course is over, students will continue to receive support in the form of guidance. There will online sessions on Saturday for such candidates who need problem solving. Whatever you learn in this workshop, you will be able to apply AI video creation to Ad films, reels, tutorials, presentations, explainer videos and any other personal projects.
